Product Description
The purpose of this product is to remove the throttle body brace, The oem item connects the Mr2 3sgte throttle body to the camcover via a spacer plate on the throttle body intake track.
Many aftermarket camcovers or Coil on Plug igntion kits including our own isn't compatible with this intake support bracket, so i designed this spacer plate to retain the intake spacer of the OEM intake track minus the intergrated support bracket.
The other alternative use is if your polishing/painting/powdercoating the engine components and the OEM support spacer/bracket incorporates a fixed rubber sealing section resulting in any type of powdercoating impossible. Our billet spacer bracket comes with removeable
o-rings so allowing powdercoating to be used.
Use this if your retaining the OEM throttle body and intake, and not running one of our Drive By Wire Throttle bodies or other direct to Throttle body intake system.
