When removing the AC system from the 3sgte Celica engine, often done when fitting a Larger Intercooler system, Removing paracitic loss or removal as a cheaper option for a failed system, you need to run a ribbed pulley and shorter belt to allow the continued use of the Alternator.
Where out kit differs from others, we include a stainless steel bolt spacer to replace the old AC compressor unit. In oem form the belt tensioner bolts to the engine in 3 places, with the AC compressor removed this leaves only 2 points of contact and this places increased stain on the block. We've been seeing an increase incidents of block/water pump cracking because of this increase strained. Our simple addition resolves this problem.
